Angelwood Pictures has announced the highly anticipated return of its hit series "World's Worst Director" is being renewed for a second season but with a twist. After the success of the first season's "World's Worst Christmas" series, fans can expect even more hilarity and chaos.
The first episode, one of three planned episodes, premiered on YouTube in mid-November and was met with much praise from viewers. The rest of the episodes are set to air in winter 2025.
The series will be getting a new name called "World's Worst Holiday Series" and each season will be focusing on a different holiday for its plot. While the first season revolved around Christmas, the upcoming season could feature any holiday from Thanksgiving to Halloween, Valentine's Day, Passover, Hanukkah, and more.Â
Each season will have a unique plot that centers around the chosen holiday, providing a fresh and creative take on the show’s mockumentary genre. Lead character Moses will once again take viewers on a hilarious behind-the-scenes journey with the rest of the cast, showcasing their disastrous attempts at making a movie or show.Â
Filming for the highly anticipated second season is set to begin in the summer of 2025, with plans to release the episodes around the selected holiday later in the year.Â
While the chosen holiday has not been announced yet, fans can expect it to be revealed at a later date. As for the cast, most of the familiar faces from season one will be returning for the upcoming season. However, fans can also look forward to some new cast members joining in on the fun.
