Set designer, Mary Hronicek, will be awarded the James R. Zuckerman Special Achievement Award at the Angelwood Pictures’ 2015 Angel Awards on Friday, Dec. 4.
Hronicek is being honored for her passion, hard work, and diligence that she put in to designing the sets for Family Problems, Lungs, and In the Bedroom. She set designed and dressed thirteen bedrooms, turned four blank white wall rooms into well-crafted church locations & a police war room, and transformed an old shed into a witch’s home. Her details were so specific and beautifully crafted.
She deserves this achievement for enhancing the Angelwood Pictures’ series and working so passionately to bring each world to life with her beautiful designs. During the awards, there will be a special video presentation highlighting her work and a ‘special guest’ presenter.
The James R. Zuckerman Special Achievement Award is dedicated to Seth Chitwood’s (Creative Director) Grandfather – who passed away in 2012. Zuckerman was a huge supporter of the arts and to Chitwood’s many accomplishments. Although he was unable to see Hronicek’s amazing work; he would’ve been just as impressed.
Although the location of the awards will not be announced until later this week, the evening is scheduled for Friday, Dec. 4. Tickets are available for $15.00 and are now available to be purchased with Eventbrite here: https://www.eventbrite.com/e/the-2015-angelwood-pictures-angel-awards-tickets-18752260516
