Attention witches! “Luna, The Witch” will premiere its 6-episode second season on Tuesday, December 21.
Winter solstice, also known as Yule, occurs when either of Earth’s poles reaches its maximum tilt away from the Sun. The winter solstice is the day with the shortest period of daylight and longest night of the year.
Originally slated to premiere weekly, starting October 28, one of the main decisions to push the series to this date will allow for an all episode release.
Yule, a witchy holiday, is also a fitting day to premiere the new season.
The magical digital series is created by Seth Chitwood. The upcoming season stars Alexa Hartman, Avery Hatch, Wendy Hartman and Charlie Tacker. The second season is about a young modern-day witch who must make a tough decision about how to use her powers when another witch seeks her help. Season 2 is directed by Paige Compton.
Earlier this month, Pamela Jayne Morgan, Kathy LaShay Berenson and Berkeley Pickell were also announced as new cast additions.
The first season of LUNA, THE WITCH is available on Amazon Prime Video. The official trailer for the upcoming season will be released on October 31.
